Hello - we are a group of volunteers who work with Calderdale Council and other partners like Yorkshire Water and the contractors Morrisons.The strategy covers an area around Ripponden and Barkisland in West Yorkshire and works on the basis that work done by local volunteers is complemented by litter picking done by the council and other partners.We have a flexible approach to what litter picking volunteers do and how often so that people who e.g.work full time and have other commitments can still do their bit.
