We are a small group of local residents sick of seeing litter on our streets and in our parks. We decided to take action and organise some regular litter picks in the area. Local schools have been involved by clearing their own grounds of litter on or around the chosen dates as well as advertising the community litter picks within the schools.
Our aim is to keep on top of the litter problem in the area; to discourage further dropping of litter and to educate the local children about the problem.
