We are a group of like-minded residents here in Thornbury who have come together to form Litter Busters.  Our goal is to promote and encourage a culture change towards a litter free community by attracting support from the general public, appropriate agencies, bodies & resources.  We have been quite successful locally and have achieved a reasonable amount of publicity for our group.  We have a member on the local Town Council and another on the Thornbury In Bloom Committee.  Some of our group have spoken to children in the local schools and we ran a poster competition at one of these.  We are also delighted to have George Monck from CleanupUK as a member of our group.
