Make Macclesfield Magnificent was set up by members of Hope in North East Cheshire in 2008 as a community initiative to encourage people of all ages to take a pride in their environment.  Last year we had about two hundred volunteers working out of ten centres.  The local council provided us with as much gear as they could spare and came round to collect the rubbish at the end of the morning.
