We've collected 200 bags so far!

Founded: 04th Feb 2010
Website: http://www.medwayvalley.org
Town or City: Sandling, Kent
Areas covered: River Medway from Tonbridge to Rochester Bridge. Different areas covered by individual wardens, who, to a certain extent, pick their own patch to patrol. Volunteers do as much or as little as they wish in their own chosen area.

Medway Valley Countryside Partnership (MVCP) have over 60 voluntary River Wardens who litter pick and record wildlife along the River Medway, from Tonbridge up into the Medway Gap. In addition to the ongoing work of our individual volunteers, twice a year additional groups get involved for a larger River Rubbish Round Up. These events usually take place in Spring and Autumn. For more information about the River Rubbish Round Up's or if you would like to find out more about being a River Warden, please contact MVCP on 01622 683695 or email medwayvalley@kent.gov.uk
We'll let you know how many bags we collect in 2011 soon.
