Cleaner Cambridge Campaign launched 'the Big Tidy Up' on 1 September at 10am in Histon Road Recreation Ground.

Within an hour and a half, a group of six adults and a dozen children (most under the age of six) collected six bags (some weighing in excess of 10kilos) and two abandoned bicycles.

Thanks to local City Ranger for supplying litter picks and gloves and all those who pledged support.  A suggestion has been made to have a monthly Sunday afternoon litter pick in the winter months.  Let us know if you are interested.
