Dogs - Awareness and Enforcement
As part of the Snodland Goes Cleaner campaign, Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council, with permission from Snodland Town Council held a Dogs Awareness and Enforcement event in Nevil Park and the Recreation Ground on 13 November 2008. Environmental Enforcement Officer bagged all the dog waste found in the two parks in bright yellow bags. The bags were left on the ground where they were found for the day to create a visual impact for the amount of dog waste in the two parks, before they were disposed of safely in the dog bins provided.
The officers also picked up all the litter in the two parks as a Bash the Trash event.
