Grantham Canal: The Return
It was a brilliantly sunny winter morning and we pulled in ten happy volunteers. This stretch of the Canal was surprisingly dirty, not that that stopped us - in fact it spurred us on. We cleared up 13 bin bags of discarded rubbish and got lots of interest from potential new volunteers : )
The Canal looks heaps better - we left some temporary signs to let path users know that it had been cleared of litter and to ask for suggestions of other local grot spots that need hitting.
