A successful litter pick was held, followed by another one in July in boiling heat.   Our main problem is fly tipping by the bottle bank and bottles and cans being left by outside drinkers in the public spaces.   We are always indebted to one couple who litter pick on a regular basis and keep us informed where the trouble spots are.   The local police are also planning a leaflet drop in English and the various Eastern European languages on anti social behaviour and this will contain advice on litter.
