Clean Up Sunday 3

There seems to be a strong link between our Clean Up Sundays and the weather. Rain again greeted our litter pickers, but it did clear and the morning ended in sunshine.

Since we started our Clean Up Sundays last year, the streets in the town seem to have become cleaner. Whilst this is great news, it does mean that we have to look further afield for duties.  So, whilst some litter pickers were dispatched to well known litter hot spots, some of us took to guerilla gardening and tidied up roadside vegetation
that no one seemed to be taking responsibility for - it is a sort of "no-man's land". It did not count as bags of litter, but we certainly felt proud of our efforts. And there is lots more to do. Anyway, the bag count was 15, with probably the same again in cleared vegetation. Many thanks once again to the litter pickers of Bromyard - keep up the good work.
