Three wombles turned up on Sunday 31 May for a Keep Britain Tidy 'Big Tidy Up' event in the park.  We collected 5 bags (3 in the park, 2 by Becky in Oakenshaw).  We were sad to see that binge drinkers had been in the park, lighting fires and leaving a pile of cans and bottles.  We cleared the cans and bottles and have asked the police to patrol in the evenings on warm evenings.
