St.Germains beach entrance

What a gorgeous morning on the beach! Whilst the rest of you were doing last minute Christmas preparations I cleared the beach entrance. Managed 6 bags, 2 buckets, a washing up bowl and some pipe insulation. Lots of sewage related waste too brought in by the high tides - why is this stuff entering the water in the first place?!!!
