The recent Alveston Brownie litter pick has been deemed a big success.   After a talk about the litter problem by Alveston Litter Busters,   the 33 young volunteers set to work to tidy up the local area, finishing outside  Marlwood school – particular black spot.  Despite the rain,  5 bags of litter were collected and the girls even appeared to enjoy themselves !   Thank you Brownies, this is a great contribution to the community and South Gloucestershire Big Spring Clean Campaign.
