Yesterday was cold and threatened rain on more than one occasion but thankfully it kept dry for our litter picking morning.  Liz and I cleared rubbish from under the viaduct once again (bit of a hot spot) and followed the river down to Low Catton.   We were stopped a couple of times by dog walkers and drivers passing by who offered support and hopes of joining us next month.  We desperately need more volunteers even if it's just for half an hour.  Big thanks to Liz for helping clear a popular stretch of the river bank this month, Liz can be seen on our front page sporting our new 'Stop The Drop' high viz vests.
