As part of their 'Community Challenge Award' the Cubs did a great job in tidying litter from the village.  Even the fading light didn't dampen their enthusiasm. From their bags of rubbish the Cubs concluded that the most common items were cigarette waste, crisp packets and plastic bottles.  They  were also surprised to learn how long the rubbish would have taken to degrade. We must thank the Cubs wholeheartedly for their help.  They certainly all deserve their award.
